WarningWarning
This post has nothing to do with Pedley.Except that I did buy this beer at Vons in Pedley yesterday. It is called B to the EIt looks like BE with the e raised, like an exponet.
I gotta say, to sort of quote a news story I read while looking up this beer, adding America's favorite stimulant to America's favorite alcoholic beverage is the greatest scientific breakthrough of the 21st century.
It does not taste like good beer.
But it is an energy beer. It tastes funny, has a fruity taste. It's a similar beverage to Sparks.
B to the E comes in a 10 oz bottle, 6.6 % alcohol.
I recommend it if you can't be bothered to mix your favorite energy drink and hard liquor.
I'll soon resume regular Pedley news with a tale of another Machine siting, this one with the machine spotting our photgraphic activites and taking evasive action!

Map of Pedley, California

Here is a map I found that kind of illustrates the boundaries between Pedley, California and the various other Jurupa communities... Mira Loma, Glen Avon, Rubidoux, etc.
It's actually a map of Jurupa, IO think I found it on Jurupa.com
I still need to match it up with a street map, to check the boundaries, but at first glance it looks good.
Pedley is on the map!

RIP RBC & JVBC
I was looking at job listings on craigslist http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/ and I noticed something...
I guess the Riverside Brewing Company has changed names. Hopefully they have changed management as well. They are now called Raxx, or something revolting like that.
In any case, I hope they turn the place around. The Riverside Brewing Company, and it's even shorter lived sister in Pedley, the Jurupa Valley Brewing Company (not in Pedley, in the strictest sense, but damned close...) used to provide excellent beers, and excellent service.
I was particulary fond of the 7th Street Stout...
I had the displeasure of seeing both of these once fine institutions run into the ground...
In fact, my wife believes that the RBC gave us both food poisoning which absolutely ruined our first wedding anniversary, when we ate there for lunch...
The JVBC started off on the wrong foot, what with their Budweiser logo glasses (when they brewed there, even when their beer was still good!)...
Anyway, may they rest in peace...
Anyone know of any good breweries in the area? I'm partial to stout, but love to sample them all.
